Crocus Homecare Management
Crocus Homecare was set up, and is managed, by Debbie Crowhurst and Bill Balmer. Both have longstanding careers in Health and Social Care.
Debbie trained as a Nurse, has also worked in Social Services, Housing and Homecare, and manages the care and support side of Crocus on a day to day basis.
Bill Balmer qualified as a Social Worker, and had a career in Social Work management, where he specialised in the care of Older Adults. His management responsibilities include policies and procedures, finance, training and marketing.
Our Staff Team
Our reputation for reassurance, reliability and for providing care services of exceptionally high quality, is built upon the skills and experience of our staff team.
One of Crocus Homecare’s key policies is to employ only experienced care staff who have worked in Health and/or Social Care. They must be extremely competent, caring, well trained, reliable and highly responsive to the needs of vulnerable individuals and their families.
They must be able to empathise with, and be compassionate towards, those they care for. An ability to understand others’ emotions and feelings, especially at the most difficult of times, is essential, as is the ability to respond accordingly, always treating you, and family members with dignity and respect. Our care staff must always be dependable.
